UK Confirms 3rd Coronavirus Death Case

Third Coronavirus death case has been confirmed in the UK after a patient who tested positive for coronavirus has died Late Sunday.

The number of cases in the country jumped by 30 percent to 278.

The death toll now stands at three - after two elderly patients in Milton Keynes and Berkshire became the first to die from the disease in the UK.

It is worth mentioning that, the transmission of viruses between humans happens when someone comes into contact with an infected person’s secretions, such as droplets in a cough.

They can also be transmitted by coming into contact with something an infected person has touched and then touching your mouth, nose or eyes.

The World Health Organization WHO has warned that world countries should do more and prepare for a possible pandemic because of Coronavirus outbreak.

In an official statement, WHO said that it is too early to announce a pandemic now, but the countries should be in a “phase of preparedness”.

“The epidemic will be declared when the infectious disease is easily transmitted from person to person in many parts of the world,” the statement read.

More cases of the virus, which causes respiratory disease Covid-19, continue to emerge, with outbreaks in South Korea, Italy, and Iran.
