U.S. Condemns Houthi Attempts to Target Saudi Arabia’s Civilians

The United States of America strongly condemned the Houthi militia’s attempts to target civilians in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.

The US Ambassador to the Kingdom John P. Abizaid said: “the United States calls on the international community to extend the arms embargo on Iran to stop the flow of weapons to the Houthis and to stop Houthi militia’s attacks on the Yemeni people and Yemen's neighbors. "

Abizaid  added that the United States supports the UN-led Libya peace process to reach a peaceful solution to the conflict, and urges the warring parties to negotiate under the auspices of the United Nations in order to end the suffering of the Yemeni people.
