Tyler Posey is ready to revisit the Teen Wolf franchise once again.

Posey starred as lead character Scott McCall in the MTV hit TV series "Teen Wolf" and the Teen Wolf movie sequel.

The show was inspired by the 1985 comedy starring Michael J. Fox and ran for six seasons on MTV from 2011 to 2017, focusing on McCall's life as a teenage werewolf and his pack's efforts to protect Beacon Hills.

Following the 2023 Paramount+ continuation "Teen Wolf: The Movie," Posey recently revealed that he has taken matters into his hands in hopes of reviving the franchise.

“We did a film for Paramount a few years ago now, and originally it was a three-picture deal, and then it sort of abandoned ship after the first movie. But everybody wants more,” he told People.

“So I wrote the second film. I’m trying to get that one made, and then I have an idea for the third,” the actor added. “Or we’re just going to do a TV series, but there will be more, and I’m going to spearhead it. I want it really bad.”

He affirmed they “definitely have some people on board” with the upcoming installment.

While the 2023 movie was written by Jeff Davis, who created the series, Posey noted that his screenplay is “ready to go” after he “wrote it a few years ago,” admitting the script “probably needs a couple rewrites.”

However, the actor raved that the papers are “really cool,” and “the concept is amazing,” which he hopes heralds a new era for the show.

“I was the leader of the cast. Now I want to be the leader for the entire project,” he noted. “I feel like I know what the fans want, and I want to deliver it for them. They’ve been amazing to us over the years, and I want to give it to them.”

Posey added, “I want to continue it. Me and all the fans and a lot of the actors feel like it was halted at a time where we should have kept it going. So I think there’s more to come.”
