The official trailer for Watch IT's hit musical TV series “Rivo” has been unveiled.
“Rivo” is a Watch It streaming service original content that premiered in June 2022 and consisted of 10 episodes.
It starred Rakeen Saad, Hassan Abu Al-Rous, Sara Abdulrahman, Malak El Husseiny, Muhammad Mola, Sedky Sakhr, Mina Al-Najjar, Hisham Al-Shazly, Amr Gamal, Youssef Hashish, and Maryam Badawi.
The cast also included Cairokee, which consists of lead vocalist Amir Eid, lead guitarist Sherif Hawary, drummer Tamer Hashem, keyboarder Sherif Mostafa, and bass guitarist Adam el-Alfy.
The series was written by Mohamed Nayer and directed by Yahya Ismail.
“Rivo” is centered around Maryam Hassan Fakhr El-Din, who seeks to discover what linked her father, a prominent author, with a music band called Rivo, which was famous in the nineties.
The upcoming season will feature the return of the main cast and team behind the series.
In the second two, the viewers examine the missing details between Maryam’s parents.
She takes her mother Laila, who suffers from Alzheimer’s disease, to her father's old cabinet in Al-Ajami, Alexandria, in the hope she regains some of her memories.
Moreover, Maryam carries on with her journey to find her truth as well as discover the remaining events to complete the script of her father's last film, "Rivo".
Season 2 of “Rivo” is set to premiere on Watch IT on June 21. Check out the trailer below.
