The premiere date for Egyptian actress Injy El Mokkaddem's new TV series “Qawaed Al Talaq Al 45” (The 45 Rules of Divorce) has been unveiled.

The series is set to debut on the Shahid VIP platform on November 21 and screen the following day on MBC 4.

“Qawaed Al Talaq Al 45”  is based on the American comedy-drama TV series “Girlfriends’ Guide to Divorce”, which ran from 2014 to 2018 over five seasons.

The American series itself was adapted from the “Girlfriends’ Guides book” series by Vicki Iovine and revolved around Abby McCarthy, the author of a self-help book series, whose career comes to a halt after getting porced.

Now, a 40-year-old single woman, she seeks advice from her friends to lead a happy life.

“Qawaed Al Talaq Al 45”  marks El Mokkaddem’s first lead role in a TV series and Shahine's acting debut.
