TV Series "Qanon Kdim" First Look, Release Date Released

The first look and release date for Egyptian actor Sherif Mounir's upcoming TV series "Qanon Kdim" has been released.

It also stars Salah Abdullah, Fedra, Rahma Hassan, Mohamed El Sharnouby, and others.

The series sheds light on the daily lives of inhibits of a residential building and their social conditions and human relations.

The series also examines the relationship between fathers and children and the difference in priorities between generations.

"Qanon Kdim" is set to premiere on the "ON E" TV Channel on Saturday, October 29.

Mounir was born on May 14, 1959, in Mansoura, Dakahlia governorate.

He enrolled in the acting department of the Higher Institute of Theatrical Arts, following the advice of poet Salah Jahin.

Mounir started his career in the mid-1980s, appearing in the TV series “Rihla El Milion” (Journey of a Million), “Bakeeza We Zaghloul,” and “Leyyali El Haleema” (Nights of El Helmeya).

He also starred in several films such as “El Tawfaan” (The Flood), “Darbet Maalim” (Master Stroke), and “Abnaa’ Wa Kutla” (Children and Murderers).

Mounir got his big break in the 1990s when he played “Youssef” in the 1991 film “The Kit Kat.”

He has appeared since then in a significant number of films, including “Diso Disco,” “Romantica,” “Short Wa Fanila Wa Kab” (Shorts, Tanktop, and Hat), “Sihr El Layyali,” (Sleepless Nights), “Welad El ‘Am”, and “Hysteria.”
