TV Series "Jareemat Montasaf Allil" to Screen in Ramadan 2025

Egyptian actress Rania Youssef's TV series "Jareemat Montasaf Allil" will screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.

The drama initially was set to screen last Ramadan but exited the marathon due to production issues.

In "Jareemat Montasaf Allil", Youssef portrays bellydancer Riri, the mother of university student Maysoon, played by Mayar El Ghity.

The cast also includes Afaf Shoaib, Salah Abdallah, Ahmed Abdelaziz, Mohamed Soliman, Malak Koura, Mohamed Ezz, and more.

It is an action-thriller genre that consists of 15 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Mohamed Elgheity and director Essam Shaaban.

"Jareemat Montasaf Allil" focuses on the murder of two university students in the residence of one of the victims 15 years ago.

The series also sheds light on higher education and its conflicts as well as the psychological problems and crises of the new generation.

Youssef is set to participate in the drama marathon with the TV series "Nos Al Shab Esmo Mohamed" (Half of the People Are Called Mohamed).

The cast also stars Essam Omar, Mayan El Sayed, Mohamed Mahmoud, and more.

"Nos Al Shab Esmo Mohamed" consists of 15 episodes and hails from director Abdelaziz El Naggar and scriptwriter Mohamed Ragaa.

Youssef, born on December 1, 1973, worked as a model, before her acting career. She made her acting debut in the 1993 TV series "Mermaid".

Her TV credits include "El Haramy" (2020), "Mamlaket Eblis" (2020), "El Ansaa Farah 1" (2019), "Kaeno Embareh" (2018), "Afrah El-Qobba" (2016), "Sabaa' Arwah" (2016), "Leila" (2016), "Ayoon Al-Qalb" (2015), "Elsabaa Wasaya" (2014), "Niran Sadeeka" (2013), "Khatout Hamra" (2012), “Ahel Cairo” (2010), "Harb Al-Jawasis" (2009), “A’ilat Al Hajj Metwaly” (2001), and “Al Nisaa Qadimat” (2001).

Youssef is also best known for her roles in "Haflet Montasaf El-Leil" (2012), and "Alzheimer's" (2010) as well as in controversial roles and starred in many controversial and racy film roles such as “Reklam” (2012), “The Scream of an Ant” (2011), “Wahid Saheeh” (2011), and "Cabaret" (2008).
