The first look at Ghada Adel and Taha Desouky's legal comedy-drama "Hala Khasa" (A Special Case) has been unveiled.
The teaser trailers introduce Adel as Amani Al-Najjar, a brilliant lawyer who always breaks the rules, and Desouky as Nadim Ahmed Abo Sreaa, a very special individual whose life is full of many challenges.
The series consists of 10 episodes and marks Desouky's first major role in a drama. It is scripted by Muhab Tarek, directed by Abdul Aziz Al-Najjar, and produced by Tarek El Ganainy.
"Hala Khasa" is a "Watch IT" original series and is set to debut soon on the streaming platform.
On the other hand, Adel is set to participate in the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon with the comedy TV series "Lunch Box".
The cast also includes Jamila Awad, Fadwa Abed, and more.
The project hails from director Hesham EL-Rashidy and marks Adel's comeback to the drama marathon after a 1-year hiatus.
She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2022 comedy TV series “Ahlam Saeeda” (Sweet Dreams).
The cast also included Yousra, Mai Kassab, Nour Mahmoud, Nabil Nour El Deen, Tamer Hagras, and more.
The series is penned by Hala Khalil, helmed by Amr Arafa, and produced by the El Adl Group. It marks the second collaboration between Yousra and Adel after the 2014 TV series “Saraya Abdeen”, which was also directed by Arafa.
Principal photography is currently underway.
