TV Series "Bi 100 Dahab" Delayed to Ramadan 2026

Lebanese singer-actress Haifa Wehbe's TV series "Bi 100 Dahab" will no longer screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.

The drama, initially titled "Jawhara", consists of 30 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Tamer Abdelmonem and director Morcous Adel. Al-Haram Art Production is the studio behind the series.

The cast also stars Ahmed Salah Hosny, Mohamed Lotfy, Ahmed Wafik, and more. 

"Bi 100 Dahab" was set to be shot in several countries, including Egypt, Cyprus, London, and Beirut. It was slated to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon but was postponed to Ramadan 2026.

The delay comes as a result of Abdel Moneim not finishing writing the series, having only completed 11 episodes so far, which makes it difficult to start filming in time to ensure its screening during the holy month.

"Bi 100 Dahab" was set to mark the Lebanese star’s comeback to the drama marathon after six years of absence. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2018 TV series "Lanet Karma".

Wehbe, born on March 10, 1976, is a multi-talented and influential superstar. She is considered one of the best female singers in Lebanon and the Arab world.

The Lebanese artist won the title of “Miss South Lebanon” at the age of sixteen, which opened the doors for her to work as a model on the catwalk as well as in music videos and TV commercials.

She was considered one of the most famous models in the Arab World. Thereafter, she worked as a TV anchor at the A.R.T. television network, however, she left that field behind to launch her music career.

In 2002, Wehbe released her first album, “Houwa El Zaman” (It Is The Time).

She made her acting debut in the 2008 Pepsi-produced film “Sea of Stars”, which was soon followed by many roles in the Egyptian cinema and television industry.

Wehbe has released over seven albums and more than a dozen songs.
