Egyptian actress Ghada Abdel Razek has reversed her decision not to participate in the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon and her non-involvement in the TV series "Alyah".

Abdel Razek dropped from the series last week without citing a reason.

The project, from writer Ayman Salama, director Ahmed Hassan and producer Islam El Morsy, also stars Mohamed Reyad, Sabry Fawwaz, and more.

In a statement, Abdel Razek announced her plans to participate in the series during the Ramadan marathon, which is set to begin principal photography on December 27, following negotiations with the production company.

She confirmed that the negotiations between her and the banner resulted in an agreement that would ensure the completion of filming in a manner befitting the project.

Abdel Razek participated last Ramadan with the TV adaptation of the 1956 star-studded film "Shabab Imraa" (A Woman’s Youth).
