Production has begun on actor Ahmed Elawady's star-studded TV series "Ali Clay”.
The cast also includes Dorra, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, and more.
Mohamed Abdel Salam is directing from a script penned by Mahmoud Hamdan.
"Ali Clay” is set to debut in the Ramadan 2026 drama marathon and will witness Dorra’s comeback to the marathon after two years of absence.
She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2023 TV series "Al Aghar".
Elawady participated last Ramadan with “Fahd El Batal”.
The cast also includes Aida Riyad, Lucy, Safaa El-Toukhi, Ahmed Abdelaziz, Haggag Abdulazim, Mahmoud El Bezzawy, Myrna Noureldin, Essam Elsaka, Sarah Salama, Caroline Azmy, and more.
It is scripted by Mahmoud Hamdan, directed by Mohamed Abdel Salam, and produced by Synergy.
"Fahd El Batal" marked Elawady and Hamdan's second collaboration after the 2023 TV series “Haq Arab," which achieved great success upon its premiere in the holy month of Ramadan.
It also witnessed the third collaboration between Noureldin and Elawady after Season 4 of "Hekayat Banat S4" (2020) and the TV series "Al Hosan Al Aswad Building" (2017).
Born on December 12, 1985, Elawady was discovered by actor Nour El-Sherif. He is best known for his roles in films "The Thief of Baghdad", "Mousa", and "Horob Edterary".
