Production began on Egyptian actor Yasser Galal's TV series "Alaqa Mashroa".
The cast also includes Mai Omar, Dalia Mostafa, and Mourad Makram.
It is scripted by Samah Al-Hariri and directed by Khaled Marei.
The series consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen in Ramadan 2023 drama marathon.
“Alaqa Mashroa” marks the second collaboration between the pair after the 2020 TV series "Al Fetewa".
Galal participated last Ramadan with the third season of the acclaimed TV series “El Ekhteyar” (The Choice).
About 200 stars participated in the series including Ahmed El Sakka, Ahmed Ezz, Khaled El Sawy, Mahmoud El-Bezzawy, Bayoumi Fouad, Sabry Fawwaz, and others.
“El Ekhteyar 3” also featured Karim Abdel Aziz reprising his role as Zakaria Younes from the previous season.
The new installment was scripted by Hany Sarhan and directed by Peter Mimi.
The series featured true events for the first time about the Muslim Brotherhood terrorist organization’s brief rise to power in Egypt after the 2011 revolution and their overthrow.
