Egyptian actor Ahmed Dawood's upcoming TV series "Al Sharnaqa" (The Cocoon) will consist of 15 episodes.
The cast also stars Mariam El Khosht, Sabry Fawaz, Ali Eltayeb, Amr Wahba, and more. It is scripted by Amr Samir Atef, directed by Mahmoud Abd El Tawab Toba, and produced by Aroma Production Company.
"Al Sharnaqa" consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
The drama marks Dawood's comeback to the drama marathon after 3 years of absence. He made his last participation in the Egyptian remake of the 2011 US legal TV series “Suits”.
Dawood, born on January 31, 1983, landed his first major role in the 2010 film "Walad w Bent", and then turned to drama and collaborated with top-notch stars such as Yousra, Nour El-Sherif, and Laila Elwy.
Dawood landed his breakthrough role in the 2014 TV series "Segn El Nessa".
His TV credits also include "Suits S1", "Luebat Al-Nesyan", "Mamlaket Eblis", "Aho Da Elly Saar", "Zay El-Shams", "Hadha Almasa", "Grand Hotel", "Hepta: El Mohadra El Akhyra", "Niran Sadeeka", and"Sharbat Loaz".
