TV Series “Al-Kabir Awy” S7 Wraps Production

Production wrapped on season 7 of Egyptian actor Ahmed Mekky's comedy hit TV series “Al-Kabir Awy”.

The series is currently screening during the Ramadan 2023 drama marathon and has achieved great success.

Season 7 of “Al-Kabir Awy” featured the return of previous cast members such as Mekky, Bayoumi Fouad, Hisham Ismail, Mohamed Salam, Ahmed Farag, and Moustafa Gharieb.

It also featured a number of celebrities making a cameo including Ahmed El Sakka and Lebanese actress Nour, who embodies the personality of a psychiatrist.

The series was written by Mustafa Saqr, directed by Ahmed El-Gendy, and produced by the Synergy production company.

“Al-Kabir Awy” made its debut in 2010. It revolved around the Mayor of the Mazarita village, in upper Egypt, who discovers that he has other siblings.

The series achieved great success and became one of the best comedy series that screened annually during Ramadan. It was renewed in 2011, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2022.
