Production has begun on Egyptian actress Huda El Mufti's upcoming TV series "80 Bako".
The cast also stars Rahma Ahmed Farag, Mohamed Lotfy, Donia Sami, and more.
The drama marks El Mufti's first lead TV role and hails from director Kawthar Younis ("Maqsoom").
Younis directs the series from a script by the scribe of the Netflix TV series "Finding Ola", Ghada Abdel Aal. It consists of 15 episodes and is produced by E-producers Productions.
"80 Bako" is set to screen on the MBC Group during the holy month.
The series marks El Mufti's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. She made her last participation in the 2023 TV series "El Sandok" (The Box).
El Mufti, born on December 4, 1994, started her artistic career after studying theater. She drew attention with her role as Nadine in the TV series “Kaeno Embareh” (Like it was Yesterday). Her other TV credits include "Mawaed Ma El Mady", "Matam El Habayeb", "Hadha almasa", "Ladina Aqwal Okhra", "Valentino", “Kaeno Embareh”, "Bimbo", and "Tahqiq".
She is also best known for her roles in films “Banat Sanawy”, “Ra’s El Sana”, "Farq Khebra", "Dido", "Kira We El Gin", "Amohom", "Hazak Al Youm", and "Bahebek".
