Production has begun on Egyptian actress-singer Somaya El Khashab's TV series "100 Ragel".
The cast also includes Salah Abdallah, Mahmoud Abdel Moghni, Nancy Salah, Samaa Ibrahem, and more.
The series hails from screenwriter Mahmoud Hemdan and director Ebram Nashaat.
"100 Ragel" consists of 15 episodes and is set to screen during the Ramadan 2024 drama marathon.
The series witnesses El Khashab's comeback to the drama marathon after a 2-year hiatus. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2021 TV series “Mousa”.
It also starred Mohamed Ramadan, Heba Magdy, Ryad El Kholy, Sabry Fawaz, Sayed Ragab, Arfa Abdel Rassoul, and others. The series is written by Nasser Abdul Rahman, directed by Mohamed Salama, and produced by the Synergy production company.
El Khashab will be seen next in the TV Series "Arwah Khafea" (Hidden Souls).
The cast also includes Nedal El Shafey, Firas Saayed, Monther Rayahnah, Nahla Salama, and more. The series is scripted by Sawsan Amer and directed by Abram Nashaat.
El Khashab, born on October 20, 1976, in Alexandria, graduated from the Faculty of Commerce at Alexandria University in 1997.
She began her acting career in 1998 in the TV series “Ser El Arad” (Earth Secret).
In 2001, El Khashab received her shoot to fame, starring in one of her most famous roles, in the TV series “Alhaj Metwali family” with Nour El-Sherif.
El Khashab began her career in 1998, starring in many TV series and film productions, which earned her many awards including the Murex d’Or award from Lebanon in 2009 as best Arab actress, and the ART award from Arab Radio and Television Network in 2013 as best actress for her role in TV series “Rih Almirath”.
