Tunisian Foreign Minister (FM) Othman Jerandi and his Algerian counterpart Ramtane Lamamra held talks, on the sidelines of the Arab Foreign Ministers (FMs) consultative meeting, in Kuwait.

Both ministers discussed ways to enhance bilateral ties between the two countries, especially in light of the outcomes of the Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune's recent visit to Tunisia.

Moreover, the meeting discussed the latest preparations ahead of the upcoming Arab summit, set to be hosted in Algeria.

It is worth mentioning, Egypt’s Foreign Minister (FM) Sameh Shoukry held talks, on Sunday, with his Jordanian counterpart Ayman Safadi, on the sidelines of the Arab FMs meeting, hosted in Kuwait.

The two ministers discussed ways to boost distinguished bilateral ties between both countries, as well as coordinating positions regarding regional developments, in light of the directives of the two countries’ political leadership.

FM headed to Kuwait to participate in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers (FMs).

Kuwait chairs the current 156th session of the League Council at the level of Foreign Ministers.

“Shoukry’s participation aims to continue consultation with Arab FMs on various Arab files and issues, as well as coordinating positions, to promote joint Arab action mechanisms in the face of different regional and international challenges,” the Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez added.
