On Sunday, Egypt’s Foreign Minister (FM) held talks with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Bou Habib, on the sidelines of the Arab Foreign Ministers (FMs) consultative meeting, hosted in Kuwait.

The talks tackled the strong Egyptian-Lebanese ties as well as ways to enhance Egyptian and Arab efforts to support Lebanon.

It is worth mentioning that FM travelled to Kuwait to participate in the consultative meeting of Arab foreign ministers (FMs).

Kuwait chairs the current 156th session of the League Council at the level of Foreign Ministers.

“Shoukry’s participation aims to continue consultation with Arab FMs on various Arab files and issues, as well as coordinate positions, to promote joint Arab action mechanisms in the face of different regional and international challenges,” according to Ahmed Hafez, a spokesman for the Foreign Ministry.
