Tunisia Receives Medical Aid from Egypt

Tunisia received on Thursday a military aircraft loaded with medical aid from Egypt as a gift to help the state competing against COVID-19.

In a statement issued by the Tunisian Presidency, it highlighted: "As an initiative from Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Sisi, an Egyptian military airplane loaded with medical supplies and medical devices landed in Al Ouina military base as a support for competing against COVID-19." Tunisian Minister of Defence headed a delegation that received the medical aid.

A Tunisian diplomate told Mosaic radio station on Wednesday that both President Sisi coordinated with his Tunisian counterpart sending two airplanes loaded with medical supplies and liquid oxygen quantities from Egypt to Tunisia as an aid, Sputnik cited.
