Tunisian President Kais Saied issued on Wednesday, a decree ratifying the extension of a nationwide state of emergency for one month, according to Sputnik news agency.
"President Saied decided to extend the state of emergency in the entire territory of the republic for one month, starting from November 26 to December 25," the presidency said in a statement without giving further details.
It is worth mentioning that, the state of emergency across the country was first declared on Nov. 24, 2015, following a bloody bomb attack on a bus of the presidential guards, killing 12 agents.
