U.S. President Donald Trump said the United States remains at its "strongest ever" and claimed that Israel would have collapsed months ago had Washington not intervened militarily to destroy what he described as Iranian weapons that were "on the verge of becoming nuclear."
Speaking on Monday, Trump also delivered a message to U.S. allies, saying many countries "would not have survived" without American support.
He said Israel "would have been destroyed months ago" if he had not ordered military action targeting Iranian weapons, which he said were close to becoming nuclear.
Trump did not provide evidence to support his assertion or elaborate on the weapons he was referring to.
