U.S. President Donald Trump stated early Tuesday that he had a "very good conversation" with the new British Prime Minister, Andy Burnham, praising the "special relationship" between Washington and London and noting that they would meet soon.
In a post on Truth Social, Trump emphasized that "the Prime Minister has a big job ahead, but he will be able to get it done, and of course, the United States will be there to help."
He added that they discussed various issues, including trade, military cooperation, and mine clearance in the Strait of Hormuz.
