The Russian Cultural Center in Cairo unveiled its latest exhibition, "Traditional Threads."

This event marked the commencement of the Russian cultural season in Egypt. At the helm was Murad Jatin, the Director of Russian Cultural Centers in Egypt.

The opening, hosted at the Russian House in Cairo, witnessed eminent guests including the former Minister of Culture, Helmy El-Namnam, and Sherif Jad, the head of the Egyptian Association for Graduates of Russian and Soviet Universities.

Curated by the "Harmony" gallery, led by the talented Heba Aref, the exhibition was unique in its approach.

It showcased a myriad of artworks by children, each illustrating the traditional outfits of diverse global cultures. Adding to the immersive experience, several children adorned themselves in the very traditional attire they illustrated, capturing the spirit of the countries they represented.

Highlighting the significance of the event, Murad Jatin emphasized the role of younger generations in nurturing the longstanding cultural bond between Russia and Egypt. This sentiment found resonance in Helmy El-Namnam's words, as he extolled the Russian Cultural Center for its enduring and influential contribution to the rich tapestry of Egyptian cultural life.
