During Disney's Q1 2024 earnings call on Wednesday, CEO Bob Iger announced the release dates for many upcoming movies and also set the release date windows for some highly anticipated movies, including "Toy Story 5".
Disney confirmed that "Zootopia 2" is set to release on November 26, 2025, while the fifth installment in the long-running Toy Story franchise will release in 2026 alongside Frozen 3.
While there is not too much known about any of these projects as of yet, Iger spoke last year in passing about the third, and even potential fourth, entry in the Frozen franchise.
“Frozen 3 is in the works, and there might be a Frozen 4 in the works too,” Iger said. “But I don’t have much to say about those films right now. [Director] Jenn Lee, who created the original Frozen and Frozen 2, is hard at work with her team at Disney animation on not one but actually two stories.”
