The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Supreme Council of Antiquities, has formed an operations room comprising various sectors of the council to monitor operations and welcome visitors at various museums and archaeological sites across Egypt during the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday, starting from Tuesday until Sunday, April 14.

Mohamed Ismail Khalid, the Secretary-General of the Supreme Council of Antiquities, explained that this room will take all necessary security measures, with all antiquities inspectors and museum curators present at various archaeological sites and museums continuously during the scheduled visit times.

This ensures the orderly conduct of operations and addresses any obstacles that may hinder visitors from enjoying their visit.

This comes in light of the supervisory and regulatory role of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities in light of the significant influx of visitors, especially Egyptians, to Egyptian museums and archaeological sites during the blessed Eid al-Fitr holiday.

They come to enjoy the holiday break and get a close look at their ancient civilization.
