The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented by the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, is participating in the activities of the International Tourism Exhibition (WTM Latin America), which opened yesterday and continues until today, Wednesday, April 5, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
During the activities of the first days of the exhibition, Ahmed Ali, Director General of the Foreign Offices of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Promotion, held many professional and media meetings, in the presence of Counselor Nashwa Bakr, Director of the Commercial Office in Sao Paulo.
The meetings dealt with the importance of promoting the Egyptian tourist destination during the coming period and implementing joint promotional campaigns, especially in light of the increase witnessed by the tourist movement coming from this promising tourism market.
The meetings resulted in the agreement of implementing joint promotional campaigns with many tour operators, in addition to organizing an introductory visit for media representatives and influencers, especially in light of the positive indicators in the number of tourists coming from Brazil to Egypt who prefer cultural tourism.
The Egyptian pavilion participating in the exhibition witnessed the influx of a large number of media professionals, representatives of tourism companies, and those interested in the Egyptian tourist destination.
It should be noted that several Egyptian tourism and hotel companies operating in the Latin market are participating in the Egyptian pavilion.
