Tourism Ministry Participates in Arab Forum for Tourism, Travel 2023

The Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities is participating in the Egyptian General Organization for Tourism Intelligence at the Arab Forum for Tourism and Travel 2023 (ATM), held in Dubai, UAE from 1 to 4 May. 

The Egyptian Wing participating in the Forum was inaugurated by Ghada Shalabi, the Deputy Minister of Tourism and Antiquities for Tourism, and Khalid Fouda, the Governor of South Sinai, Amr al-Qadi, the chief executive of the Egyptian General Organization of Tourism, and Sherif Issa Ambassador of Egypt in the UAE. 

The Egyptian wing has witnessed a significant turnout by trekking organizers and airlines operating in the Egyptian market to meet their counterparts from the Egyptian side. 

Shalabi has been held during the event of the forum with representatives and officials of tourism and international hotels to discuss ways to enhance joint cooperation and attract more tourism traffic to Egyptian tourist destinations from different nations.

She also conducted several media meetings with Arab and international media representatives, during which she highlighted the Egyptian tourist product and enjoyed a variety of tourists.

Al-Qadi also held a meeting with the representatives of the Saudi Tourism Authority to discuss the intergovernmental cooperation between Egypt and Saudi Arabia in the field of tourism.

Shalabi and al-Qadi, also held a meeting with representatives of Qatar Airways, as ways of cooperation with Qatar Airways in distant markets such as Latin America, South, and East Asia were discussed, in addition to discussing the implementation of joint promotional campaigns and introductory trips to the Egyptian tourist destination.
