On Monday evening, the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities held a celebration on the occasion of the sixteenth anniversary of Egyptian Archaeologists Day in the Grand Theater of the Cairo Opera House.
Ahmed Issa, the Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, who participated in the occasion, began his speech by welcoming all the attendees and expressing his pride and happiness in being present today with this group of Egyptian archaeologists and restorers to celebrate the Egyptian Archaeologists' Day this year.
Issa congratulated them on this occasion and thanked them for their great efforts and achievements and their honorable role in preserving the history, antiquities, and heritage of Egypt, which is considered the legacy of all humanity and not the legacy of Egypt alone.
He stressed that the rich and diverse Egyptian antiquities are the best ambassador for Egypt abroad, and it is a feature that distinguishes the country from other tourist destinations. worldwide, and is a major attraction to it.
According to the minister, many tourists around the world have a great passion for the ancient Egyptian civilization, which was confirmed by the results of one of the marketing studies that were conducted during the last period.
Issa thanked the ambassadors for their presence today and for their cooperation with the ministry to attract more tourist movement coming from their countries to enjoy the tourism and archaeological potentials of Egypt, expressing the aspiration for more of this movement.
