Mr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, commenced his current visit to Sharm El-Sheikh by meeting with Major General Dr. Ismail Kamal, Governor of South Sinai. During the meeting, the two officials discussed several files of mutual interest and reviewed strategic visions to increase inbound tourism to South Sinai. They also explored ways to upgrade tourism services, thereby enhancing the competitiveness of Egypt as a global destination and encouraging further tourism investment.

Mr. Sherif Fathy emphasized his commitment to supporting the tourism industry in the governorate, noting that South Sinai possesses diverse resources capable of attracting various types of tourists. He stressed the importance of intensified promotional efforts for these diverse tourism patterns.
