Talent Dr. Sherif Fathy, Minister of Tourism, affirmed that the election of Dr. Khaled El-Enany as President of UNESCO represents a historic milestone and a source of pride for all Egyptians. During his speech at the celebration organized by the Ministry of Tourism to mark this occasion, the minister said:

Fathy added:
“I was confident in Dr. Khaled El-Enany’s success and his ability to lead UNESCO, for several reasons — foremost among them is the strong backing and strategic support from the Egyptian state, driven by the belief that Egypt deserves this distinguished international position and that our candidate is fully capable of representing the country in the best possible way.”
The minister went on to highlight the significant efforts made by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in managing the election campaign, in addition to Dr. El-Enany’s influential personality, extensive academic and administrative experience, and his comprehensive and well-structured electoral program, which he presented with passion and conviction — earning the trust of member states.
