Tourism Min. Follows up Preparations for COP27 Conference

Dr. Khaled El-Anany, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, continued on Sunday his meetings to follow up the tourism preparations for hosting of the 27th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention on Climate Change COP27 scheduled to be held in Sharm El-Sheikh next November.

Today's meeting was attended by Ms. Ghada Shalaby, Deputy Minister for Tourism Affairs, Ms. Yomna Al-Bahar, Assistant Minister for Technical Affairs, Dr. Khaled Sharif, Assistant Minister for Digital Transformation, and Mr. Muhammad Amer, Head of the Central Administration for Hotel Establishments, Shops and Tourism Activities in the Ministry.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the transformation of hotel establishments in Sharm El-Sheikh into green hotels were reviewed.

The meeting also focused on the ministry's readiness to participate in providing the conference's electronic portal with all information, pictures and propaganda materials for the Egyptian tourist destination and its perse and unique tourist and archaeological components.
