Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities, represented in the Egyptian General Authority for Tourism Activation, organized a tourism program for the delegations participating in the International Conference on Chest and Lung Tumors, which was held in Cairo under the auspices of the Ministries of Tourism and Antiquities, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Health and Population, Culture, Cairo University, and the National Cancer Institute.
Mr. Amr El-Qadi, CEO of the Egyptian General Authority for Tourist Activation, indicated that the tourism program included a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in Fustat, where they toured the halls of central exhibition, Egyptian textiles and mummies. They also visited Muhammad Ali Mosque, the Military Museum and the Police Museum.
He added that organizing this program comes within the framework of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities' keenness to benefit from the events held in Egypt to promote the Egyptian tourist destination by organizing visits for delegations participating in these events to visit tourist and archaeological sites in Egypt.
Noteworthy, the International Conference on Chest and Lung Tumors was held in Cairo on June 23-24, and delegations from the countries of America, Italy, Greece, Germany, Brazil, Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey and Spain participated in it.
