Tom Hiddleston, Zawe Ashton Are Engaged

Marvel star Tom Hiddleston and English actress Zawe Ashton are engaged after three years of dating.

The couple first sparked engagement rumors after Ashton appeared Sunday at the 2022 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA) wearing a gorgeous ring on her left hand.

The actress’ diamond ring was hidden under her long sleeves, but the jewelry was much more visible in a photo of British TV presenter AJ Odudu with the couple on Instagram from the BAFTAs post-show dinner.

The now-expired selfie showed Ashton's ring was in clear view as her hand was on Odudu’s shoulder.

Hiddleston and Ashton were first linked in 2019 when they collaborated in the West End production of “Betrayal” where they played each other’s love interests.

In September 2021, they made their red carpet debut as a couple at the Tony Awards.
