"To All the Boys" Spinoff "XO, Kitty" Starts Production

Netflix’s “XO, Kitty,” the spinoff of its “To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before” trilogy, started production in Seoul, South Korea, the streamer announced Tuesday.

Netflix also unveiled several casting details.

The series features Choi Min-yeong as Dae, Anthony Keyvan as Q, Gia Kim as Yuri, Sang Heon Lee as Min Ho, Peter Thurnwald as Alex, and Regan Aliyah as Juliana.

In recurring roles are Yunjin Kim as Jina; Michael K Lee as Professor Lee; and Jocelyn Shelfo as Madison.

“XO, Kitty” will see Anna Cathcart reprising her role as Kitty Song Covey who believes that she knows everything about love, but after she moves halfway across the world to reunite with her long-distance boyfriend, she will soon realize that relationships are a lot more complicated when it’s your own heart on the line.

The series consists of 10 episodes and marks the first to be spawned by a Netflix original movie.

The half-hour dramedy, from the films’ Awesomeness and ACE Entertainment, will showrun by book series creator Han and Sascha Rothchild, who will also serve as executive producers alongside Matt Kaplan of ACE Entertainment.

This first season of “XO, Kitty” will be directed by Jennifer Arnold, Jeff Chan, Pamela Romanowsky, and Katina Medina Mora.
