Egyptian Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly has declared Thursday, 23 July 2026, an official paid holiday to mark the anniversary of the 23 July Revolution.
The decision applies to employees working in ministries, government departments, public authorities, local administration units, public-sector companies and public business-sector companies.
Any scheduled examinations will continue according to the timetables set by the relevant authorities.
The holiday commemorates the anniversary of Egypt’s 23 July Revolution.
