A new glimpse has been released for the highly-anticipated Norman Reedus-led “The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” spinoff series.

The first of three new Walking Dead universe spinoffs just premiered on AMC, as Maggie and Negan began their highly-anticipated New York mission on "The Walking Dead: Dead City".

Next up, Daryl Dixon gets his time to shine in a solo adventure that sees the fan-favorite making his way across the pond to France, which just so happens to be as zombie-infested as America.

The spinoff series follows Daryl (Reedus) washing ashore in France and struggling to piece together how he got there and why.

It tracks his journey across a broken but resilient France as he hopes to find a way back home. As he makes the journey the connections he makes along the way complicate his ultimate plan.

Moreover, the set video and photo from the series reveal there will be a big-time Walking Dead reunion team-up. The sneak peek confirms the return of Melissa McBride as Daryl’s Platonic pal Carol.

A recent photo of McBride in France kicked off rumors of a Carol return in the upcoming spinoff, but this new sneak peek evidence takes things beyond the rumor phase and into the realm of fact.

In the footage, Reedus and McBride are seen filming a scene on a Paris bridge, in their post-apocalyptic costumes.

“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” also includes Clémence Poésy, Adam Nagaitis, Anne Charrier, Eriq Ebanouey, Laika Blanc Francard, Louis Puech Scigliuzzi, and Romain Levi.

Charrier is playing Genet, Ebanouey is Fallou, Blanc Francard is Sylvie, Levi is Codron, and Puech Scigliuzzi is Laurent.

Poésy is playing Isabelle, “a member of a progressive religious group, who joins forces with Daryl (Reedus) on a journey across France and finds herself confronting her dark past in Paris. Nagaitis is portraying Quinn, a displaced Brit who has become powerful in post-apocalyptic Paris as a black marketeer and the owner of the Demimonde, a sexy underground nightclub.

The series is created and produced by The Walking Dead's Angela Kang. Brian Bockrath, Scott M. Gimple, Daniel Percival, and David Zabel serve as executive producers.

"The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon" is coming to AMC in the fall.
