Russian Cultural Center Honors Women on Mother's Day

The Russian Cultural Center in Cairo has organized a ceremony for the center’s employees to congratulate the Egyptian and Russian women’s staff on Mother’s Day.

Alexei Tiffanyan, Director of the Center, referred to the efforts of Russian and Egyptian staff in supporting the center's various activities that are organized inside its halls or outside

He praised their efforts in organizing Russian Culture Days in various Egyptian universities, where efforts are being made to organize Russian cuisine exhibitions where popular Russian food and Russian handicrafts are displayed, as well as organizing concerts in which popular Russian songs are presented.

Tiffanyan emphasized that the month of March of every year is the month of women, as it celebrated International Women's Day on March 8 and Egyptian Women's Day on March 16 and concludes with Mother's Day on March 21, and that the Center is always keen to celebrate these occasions as part of its support for the role of women in society.

On conclusion of the ceremony, flowers and gifts were presented to the workers of the Russian Cultural Center as part of the celebration of Mother's Day.
