Pharaohs Knew Cinema before Thousands Years

The ancient Egyptian artist produced numerous artifacts that passed centuries to the modern age.

He showed his genuine understanding to the art of cinema and its technologies before it appeared in the 19th century.

Dr Hussein Bassir, an Egyptologist, said that there are many pictures dated back to Ancient Egypt prove clearly that the Ancient Egyptians knew principles of cinematography through scenes appeared in the Egyptian either in graves or temples or other miniatures.

Those pieces show cleverness of the Ancient Egyptians that early time in history.

Every scene adds more to another and makes it develop until completing the art message or the vision which the Egyptian artist wanted to convey it before many centuries of inventing the cinema.

Dr Basseer added that the Egyptian antiquities represent a visual panorama which contains a number of well-done pictures of the daily life of the Ancient Egyptians according to a timeline and dramatic structure.

A distribution of scenes could be seen on Narmer Palette whereas historical event were delineated in consequent array in the pre-dynasties era in Ancient Egypt.
