Veteran American pop-punkers The Offspring announced Friday their 11th studio album, "Supercharged" and dropped the LP’s first single, the head-bopping “Make It All Right.”
The 10-track record is due out on October 11 via Concord Records.
In a statement, singer Dexter Holland said that the album was recorded in Maui, Vancouver, and the group’s home studio in Huntington Beach with legendary producer Bob Rock (Metallica, Bon Jovi).
“I feel like this is the best we have ever sounded! We’ve been rocking out and headbanging to it for months! And we can’t wait for you guys to hear it!” he continued.
Speaking of the single, Holland described it as a great example of the vibe they were looking for, “because it talks about the people in our lives who make us feel strong when we are feeling low – our partners in crime who make us feel all right.” And, indeed, on the track he sings, “And you make it all right/ And it’s gonna be fine/ We’re like partners in crime/ And you make it all right/ And it’s gonna be fine.”
