"The Nun 2" in Development

"The Nun" is getting the sequel treatment.

It serves as the follow-up to the 2018 movie "The Nun" and a continuation of the highly popular Conjuring universe.

The original movie was set in 1952 and is the oldest movie in "The Conjuring franchise".

It follows a priest and a novice arriving in Romania to investigate the death of a young nun. However, things take an ugly turn when they encounter the demon Valak.

The character was first introduced in 2016's movie "The Conjuring 2".

The last movie in the franchise was 2021's "The Conjuring: The Devil Made Me Do It".

The movie followed Ed and Lorraine Warren in the 1980s investigating the famous court case that use demonic possession as a defense for murder.
