The launch of the seventh Cairo Water Week in the presence of the Prime Minister

The 7th Cairo Water Week kicked off a short while ago under the title "Water and Climate: Building Resilient Societies" in the presence of Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, a number of Egyptian ministers and foreign delegations under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Republic, coinciding with Egypt hosting the "African Water Week" events, which it hosts as the current chair of the African Ministerial Council for Water Affairs (AMECOWAS).

Dr. Hani Sweilem, Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, said that this prominent event will bring together experts and specialists from around the world to discuss the five main topics of the conference, while enhancing the week's axes to include presenting unified visions for the African continent in the field of water while continuing to focus on the "Water and Climate Change" axis at the global level.

He pointed out that all forms of human and logistical support have been provided to the week's organizers to produce the seventh edition of the week in the best possible way, befitting Egypt's status and pioneering role.

An exhibition will be organized on the sidelines of the week, which provides an exceptional platform for governmental and private institutions to highlight their programs, products and innovations in the water sector. The exhibition includes vital areas such as water desalination and renewable energy And the latest technological solutions in the field of water, which represents a unique opportunity for cooperation and exchange of experiences.
