The premiere date for Tunisian actress Hend Sabry‘s star-studded TV series “Moftarak Torok” has been revealed.
The series boasts a cast that includes the likes of Maged El Masry, Eyad Nassar, Jumana Murad, Noha Abdin, and more.
It consists of 45 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Sherif Badr Alden and director Ahmed Khaled Mousa. The series is a remake of the 2009 US legal and political series “The Good Wife“.
The original series is an American legal and political drama television series that aired on CBS from September 2009 to May 2016.
It was created by Robert and Michelle King and consisted of 9 seasons and 156 episodes.
“The Good Wife” is centered around Alicia Florrick, played by Julianna Margulies, who has been a good wife to her husband a former state’s attorney (Chris Noth), and has to provide for her family and return to work as a litigator in a law firm after he is behind bars following a very humiliating and corruption scandal.
“Moftarak Torok” is set to debut on Sunday, June 2 on the "Sahid" VOD platform.
