For the first time in Egypt, the iconic world-famed feature "The Godfather" will be screened in 4K resolution in all VOX cinemas on February 23.
“The Godfather“, one of the cinema’s greatest classics of all time, is celebrating its fiftieth this year.
The franchise launched on March 24, 1972, and consisted of three movies. It was based on the novel by author Mario Puzo and centered around the Corleones, a powerful mob family embroiled in a battle for power in mid-’40s New York.

The trilogy starred Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Diane Keaton, and Robert Duvall and ended up winning three Oscars, including Best Picture and Best Actor for Brando.
Paramount Pictures marked the trilogy’s 50th anniversary of the first movie’s release with a new trailer.
The footage showed classic scenes of the movie featuring Brando as Vito Corleone and Al Pacino as Michael Corleone.
Furthermore, “The Godfather’ will have a limited theatrical release in the United States on February 25 and will also be available in 4K UHD and digital release on March 22.
Paramount spent thousands of hours restoring the trilogy, ensuring it remained true to the original look and feel of the movies.
The last restoration for the trilogy was done back in 2007.
