Palestinian medical sources announced today, Tuesday, that the death toll from the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 39,653 martyrs, and 91,535 wounded since October 7, 2023.

The Palestinian News Agency "Wafa" quoted the sources as saying: The occupation forces committed three massacres against families in the Gaza Strip, of which 30 martyrs and 66 wounded arrived at hospitals during the past 24 hours, noting that thousands of victims are still under the rubble and on the roads, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.

In another context, the occupation forces have arrested at least (16) citizens from the West Bank since yesterday until Tuesday morning, including a wounded person, in addition to children and former prisoners.

The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and the Palestinian Prisoners' Club reported - in a joint statement - that the arrests were distributed across the governorates of Hebron, Bethlehem, Tubas, Ramallah, Jenin, Nablus, Jericho, and Qalqilya.

The statement indicated that the occupation forces continue to carry out wide-scale raids and abuse, accompanied by attacks and threats against detainees and their families, in addition to widespread acts of vandalism and destruction in citizens' homes, premeditated killing, and destruction of infrastructure.

It is noteworthy that the total number of arrests since the beginning of the ongoing war of extermination has reached more than (9970) detainees, including those who were arrested from homes, or through military checkpoints, those who were forced to surrender themselves under pressure, and those who were held hostage.
