On Friday, Netflix added a disclaimer to the final season of "The Crown" a disclaimer to the trailer description.
"Inspired by real events, this fictional dramatization tells the story of Queen Elizabeth II and the political and personal events that shaped her reign," the disclaimer reads.
The platform added the disclaimer to The Crown following the massive backlash the show faced over the reality of the mentioned events in the first trailer of the show.
Judi Dench heavily criticized Netflix earlier this week calling the series "cruelly unjust" in tackling the life of the Royal Family.
The fifth season of The Crown will focus on the events from the 1990s and it will be released on November 9.
One episode talks about the heir to the throne Charles attempting to draw prime minister John Major into a conspiracy against his mother, which was described as "damaging and malicious" fiction.
A statement issued by the official said: "There was never any discussion between Sir John and the then Prince of Wales about any possible abdication of the late Queen Elizabeth II - nor was such an improbable and improper subject ever raised by the then Prince of Wales (or Sir John)."
Veteran actress Judi Dench also criticizes the series, describing it as "cruelly unjust" to the royal family.
Previous storylines received huge backlash including a scene of the late Prince Philip, blaming the Queen's father for causing his sister's death.
Royal biographer William Shawcross last week told AFP that The Crown was filled with "lies and half-truths", and Prince Philip was "incredibly upset" by such a storyline
On the other hand, a spokeswoman of the show defended it saying that the series is a "fictional dramatization, imagining what could have happened behind closed doors".
