The first look at the "John Wick" prequel series "The Continental" has finally been unveiled.
The three-part limited series is set roughly 40 years before the events in the John Wick franchise and focuses on events surrounding a hotel for assassins in New York City
Set in 1970s New York City, the drama will follow the origins of The Continental New York’s manager Winston and loyal concierge Charon, who are portrayed by Colin Woodell and Ayomide Adegun.
The series also chronicles how a young Winston Scott managed to establish a safe haven for assassins.
It also features Mel Gibson as Cormac and Katie McGrath as The Adjudicator. The cast also includes Mishel Prada, Ben Robson, Hubert Point-Du Jour, Nhung Kate, Jessica Allain, Jeremy Bobb, and Peter Greene.
The series, fully titled "The Continental: From the World of John Wick, took a long road to the screen, having first been put into development in 2018.
The limited series is written and executive produced by Greg Coolidge, Kirk Ward, and Shawn Simmons.
Albert Hughes exec producing and directing episodes one and three, and Charlotte Brandstrom helming episode two.
"The Continental" is set for a September release on Peacock.
