Warner Bros. Pictures debuted Monday a new poster and trailer for Robert Pattinson's DC movie "The Batman".
The trailer featured a closer look at Paul Dano’s Riddler, and Colin Farrell’s Penguin as well as the connection between Zoë Kravitz’s Catwoman and the caped crusader himself.
The new poster also made the Batman and Catwoman connection its main focus as both are featured on either side of the film’s release date and logo. Both characters take on the red and blue glows of the poster’s lighting, making them and their costumes fully jump out at the viewer.
The movie, which focuses on the second year of Wayne’s tenure as the Dark Knight, was scheduled to be released in June 2021 but was delayed several times due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The movie also features Andy Serkis as Batman/Bruce Wayne’s loyal butler, Alfred, Geoffrey Wright as Commissioner Gordon while Peter Sarsgaard, John Turturro, and Jeffrey Wright round out the cast.
It is produced by DC Films and distributed by Warner Bros. Pictures. Director Matt Reeves helmed the movie from a script he co-wrote alongside Peter Craig.
"The Batman" is set to debut in theaters on March 4, 2022, and available on HBO max 45 days later on April 19, 2022.
