Tharaa Goubail Welcomes First Baby

Egyptian actress Tharaa Goubail and her husband, fellow actor Mokhtar Eldenary welcomed their first child, a daughter named Sodfa.

Eldenary took to social media to announce the news on Monday alongside sharing an Instagram gallery of himself with his wife.

"Happy birthday to you, my love ❤️ My darling, my friend, and my companion in my expatriation 💛 you sweetest Sodfa's mother in the world! Our first year together, just the three of us, may God make this blessing last 🌸," he wrote.

In July 2025, Goubail announced she is expecting her first child with her husband, debuting her growing baby bump.

"Our little miracle is on the way 🤍 First bump photo, first steps into motherhood," she wrote on Instagram.

The couple tied the knot for the first time in the United States on December 30, 2023, two days after signing the ‘aqd qiran’ — an Islamic marriage contract that is considered an integral part of an Islamic marriage and outlines the rights and responsibilities of the groom and bride or other parties involved in marriage proceedings under Shariah — in a low-key ceremony.

Goubail and Eldenary held their second wedding ceremony in Egypt on December 2, 2024, amid attendees of family and close friends.

Eldenary proposed to Goubail, on August 3, 2023, the latter took to social media to give fans an intimate look at the proposal. "Definitely I said yes…💍💝 I can’t even find words to thank all of you..so much love and gratitude💞," she gushed.

The couple celebrated their engagement three days later in a cozy ceremony attended by their family and friends.
