Egyptian actress Tharaa Goubail is the latest addition to the cast of season 2 of the star-studded TV series "El Atawla".
Season one of the series debuted in Ramadan 2024 and achieved great success at the time. It was renewed for season two shortly after the season one finale airing in April.
Season of "El Atawla" featured a starry cast that included Ahmed El Sakka, Tarek Lotfy, Zeina, Bassem Samra, Mai Kassab, Salah Abdallah, Hanan Soliman, Hoda Eletreby, and more.
The series consists of 30 episodes and hails from scriptwriter Hisham Hilal and director Ahmed Khaled Mousa.
The cast of season 2 features original cast members Ahmed El Sakka, Tarek Lotfy, Zeina, Bassem Samra, Mai Kassab, Hoda Eletreby, Mostafa Abo Sriea, Ahmed Kishk, Mimi Gamal, Mariam El Gendy, Mohamed El Tagy, Saffwa, Mohamed El Sawy, and more. It also stars newcomers Fifi Abdou and Nesreen Amin.
Season 2 or "El Atawla" is set to screen during the Ramadan 2025 drama marathon.
Goubail Goubail is also planning to participate in the drama marathon with the TV Series "Al Amira.. Del Heta".
Based on a true story, the drama reunites the actress with Yasmine Sabri for the second time after they previously starred together in the 2015 TV series “Tareeqy”.
"Al Amira.. Del Heta" is scripted by Mohamed Sayed Bisheer, directed by Ibrahim Fakhr, and produced by Maha Selim.
The productions mark Goubail's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. She appeared last in the 2023 TV series “Taht El Wasaya”.
Goubail, January 5, 1991, graduated from the Higher Institute of Cinema and obtained a postgraduate diploma in the field of script.
Her TV credits include "Khareg El Saytara" (2021), "Kafr Delhab" (2017), "Segn El-Nisaa" (2014), and "Bent Esmaha Zat" (2013).
In 2023, Goubail landed her first lead role in the TV series "Aseel".
