Taylor Swift's 'The Eras Tour' Book Released

On Friday, Taylor Swift's "The Eras Tour Book" was released in the markets, followed by a vinyl edition of Swift's 2024 release "The Tortured Poets Department- the Anthology."  

Through the 256-page book, Swift featured rare and never-seen photos for her record-breaking The Eras Tour. 

The Eras Tour which kicked off in early 2023 included a tribute to Swift's whole releases and career as she presented a huge setlist consisting of several tracks from all her 11 studio albums, including surprising songs, and an acoustic set. 

Swift also sent a warm message to people who attended her tour's concerts, which exceeded more than 150 shows around the world, in addition to sending a message to all fans, saying "See you next era."

The book carried over 500 images, featuring exclusive rehearsal shots and behind-the-scenes glimpses of instruments, costumes, set creations, and designer sketches.

The pop star revealed several secrets about building her concerts' setlist, and the sequence of the show, for example, the reasons for choosing "Enchanted" to be the only song to represent the "Speak Now" album.

She also explained why she decided to kick off her shows with "Lover" era. She said the tour began with the era of the same name because of the lyric “it’s been a long time coming” from her song “Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince.”

“We had to open with ‘Cruel Summer’ to blast us into the energy of this show,” Swift expressed in the book.

The 34-year-old singer also added more notes about the performances and the trick of adding a set for "The Tortured Poets Department" to the tour after the official release of the album.

There are several features characterized each era for example the glittering jumpsuit defined her "Lover" long gawns defined her "Speak Now," 22 give-away hat was part of her "Red" era, the surprise dresses define the acoustic set, and the Karma jacket defined her "Midnights" era.
